Miss Earth Philippines Sandra Seifert Won Best In Evening Gown

Miss Philippines Sandra Seifert bagged another award in the 2009 Miss Earth Pageant. She also won Best in Swimsuit last Saturday.

The Evening Gown finals was held last November 16, at the PAGCOR Grand Theater in Parañaque City where the host candidate disappointed 79 other beauties from around the world after being announced as the winner.

Miss Earth 2009 Top 15 Finalists for Best in Swimsuit

Miss Earth 2009 Swimsuit Competition was held Saturday night, November 14, at the Fontana Leisure Park and Casino in Pampanga. Miss Philippines, Sandra Seifert, won the award, the first ever for Philippines to win the award.

The 2009 Miss Earth coronation night airs live on ABS-CBN on November 22, 2009. Eighty(80) beautiful ladies will vie for the Miss Earth crown!

This year, preservation of the planet Earth is one of the most important considerations when the new Miss Earth crown was created. The masterpiece was designed by an ecologically minded Jewelry Designer, Ramona Haar, and Official Jeweler of the Miss Earth pageant.

To lessen the environmental impact that mining creates, the crown is made of 100% recycled precious metals comprising of 14K Gold and Argentums Sterling Silver. What sets this crown apart is the fact that the gemstones used both precious and semi-precious were donations from over 80 different participating countries.

Miss Earth Philippines Sandra Seifert Wins Best in Swimsuit

Miss Earth Philippines, Sandra Seifert, bested 14 other finalists for the Best in Swimsuit title in Miss Earth 2009. This is the first time that the Philippines won in the Swimsuit competition in the said competition.

The Best in Swimsuit finals was held last November 14, at the Fontana Leisure Park and Casino in Pampanga. The highlights, which is the coronation night, will be held at Boracay Convention Center on November 22, 2009.
