The Screen Actors Guild Awards is the only award giving body whose winners are selected solely by actor's peers. It honors outstanding performances in film and television every year. Year 2010 marks the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild or commonly called SAG Awards.
The 16th SAG Awards will be on January 23, 2010 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, 7 p.m. CT and 6 p.m. MT. You can watch the live broadcast on TNT and TBS. You can also check your local listings to watch the show.
The nominees were announced on December 17, 2009 at the Pacific Design Center's Silver Screen Theater in West Hollywood in LA hosted by Michelle Monaghan (“Trucker”) and Chris O'Donnell (“NCIS:Los Angeles”). SAG Awards Committee Chair JoBeth Williams and Vice Chair Daryl Anderson announced the stunt ensemble nominees.
Could your favorite actors and actresses be chosen by their peers? Watch out for that.
