In celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fall of Berlin wall U2 will be performing at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate, a historical landmark that symbolized the division between East and West Germany. as part of the 2009 Europe Music Awards (EMAs).

15 years ago, the Brandenburg Gate was the stage for the first ever MTV EMAs and will now be the backdrop for a short, exclusive set by U2 on 5th November. This extraordinary event will partly be beamed into the EMAs at the O2 World and will see the band perform live for thousands of fans.
